Call to Order

The Heritage Kincardine meeting of The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine will be called to Order at 5 p.m. on Monday September 23, 2019 in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Administration Centre.

Adoption of Minutes

• Recommendation

  THAT the Heritage Kincardine Committee adopt the minutes of the meetings of July 22, 2019 and August 12, 2019 as presented.

Outstanding Business

5.1

Job Creation Partnership

Staff received the go ahead to complete the Job Creation Partnership Application form for the Province. 

5.2

Heritage Conservation District

Staff will provide an update on the Heritage Conservation District Study. 

5.3

Tiverton Walking Tour

The GIS Summer Student has made a GIS Storybook for the walking tour similar  to the Kincardine Walking Tour and Bruce Township Driving Tour. Some of the descriptions for the properties are greater than the word count allotted for the program. Committee will discuss possible solutions including making an audio tour.

Signage

Staff will provide an update on the signage for the Salt Block, the Arts Centre and the Pavilion.

Weekly Articles to Newspaper

Committee will discuss the weekly articles to the newspaper.

Architectural Drawings - 880 Huron Terrace

Committee will discuss the donation of the Architectural Drawings from 880 Huron Terrace to the Bruce County Museum Archives.

Review of Action Items from Previous Meetings

Committee will review the action items from previous meetings.

New Business

6.1

Arts, Culture and Heritage Youth Expo

The Arts, Culture and Heritage Committee is hosting an ACH Lunch and Lean on Friday October 4th from 11:33 am to 12:33 pm at Kincardine District Secondary School. The Committee will discuss if they would like to have a space at this event.

Committee will review the financial report.
