Chief Administrative Officer provided an update on COVID-19 actions and activities.

The Province of Ontario announced Stage 3 of reopening today, which will come into effect on July 17th.   Staff has not had an opportunity to review or discuss the details in the announcement, therefore we will report back on how the announcement impacts the municipality at a future meeting.

We are continuing to plan for re-opening the municipal office and other municipal facilities.  We ask for Council and the public’s patience as we develop our plan for staff returning to work.  The plan will include bringing staff back into the office and conducting the necessary training on the protocols before opening to the public

Staff provided an update on the impact to the Municipality’s operating budget, assuming the current social distancing measures remain in place until August 31, 2020.
