Corporate Services

a.

COVID-19/Declared Emergency

Chief Administrative Officer will provide a verbal update on the COVID-19/Declared Emergency.

b.

COVID-19 Financial Implications, Treasury-2020-10

Staff previously provided a preliminary assessment of financial implications associated with Covid-19 in May 2020. As the situation with the pandemic evolves, the financial impact must be continually reviewed and monitored. This report provides an update on the impact to the Municipality’s operating budget, assuming the current social distancing measures remain in place until August 31, 2020.

Request for Proposal for the Digital Transformation Strategy, CAO's-2020-15

The Municipality of Kincardine received $60,000 under the Municipal Modernization Fund to hire a third party consultant to develop a Digital Transformation Strategy. Staff is recommending that the project be awarded to Perry Group Consulting Lt. in the amount of $39,368, plus HST.

Birchwood Ave Access and Resident Feedback Update, Public Works-2020-27

This report is a follow up to report PW 2020-15 Birchwood Ave Public Access, Block B Plan 828, presented to Council on May 4, 2020. 

To allow surrounding property owners, the opportunity to comment on the proposed change a letter was sent detailing the change and offered the opportunity to provide feedback. Several responses were received.

Staff feel that should the concerns be addressed appropriately, that the access could be finalized. The owner will incur much of the cost associated with the entrance, with a portion (approximate $2,000) for survey work to confirm public and private property related to the existing trail be covered through the Public Works operating budget. The survey work to identify private and public boundaries should be rectified whether the driveway entrance is granted or not.
