Maureen spoke with the BIA and they are happy to promote the Ramps and will ask for other interested parties.

Staff reached out to the high school to find out if they are interested and able to build any newly requested ramps.  If they are unable to help us by building, there is little use in pushing for more participants.

The current vendors are in favour of a doorbell to alert them of someone requiring assistance outside.

On March 1, 2021 Representatives from Saugeen Mobility presented a delegation to Council including information on the recent  service reductions.  The recent reductions include no Sunday or Holiday service or weekday service after 6 pm. and there have been reductions in out of town due to COVID-19. The delegation included information on a survey of other communities and found that other were also not providing Sunday service.

The Committee discussed the impact that the reduction in service would have a local residents who utilize the service including impacting their ability to visit family, social activities (plays, Bull Dog games etc.), church attendance, and medical appointments. They also discussed if other communities used for comparison have alternate transportation that could be utilized on Sunday's (i.e. taxis, buses, private transportation) and a possible delegation from the public to area Councils regarding the impact of reduced service.

The Committee want this item to stay in focus and as a priority.

Staff has reached out to Tom Church, artistic director and producer of our video from last year.   Staff will update the Committee at the April meeting with available times etc.

The Committee reviewed the site plan for a new apartment complex at the corner of Sutton Street and Gary Street.  The building will front onto Philip Place.

There was some discussion regarding increased traffic in the area.  This concern will be taken forward by staff.

There were no concerns with the site plan itself.

Sharon Woods left the meeting at 1:30
