Call to Order

Mayor Anne Eadie called to order the Public Meeting of the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine at 5:02 p.m. on Monday, March 8, 2021, electronically in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Administration Centre. 

Deputy Mayor Roppel and Clerk Lawrie were in attendance in person and all other Council Members and Staff attended electronically.

Zoning Applications

Council discussed the concern regarding the size of lot retained.

Planning Report: Z-2020-080

Bruce County Planner, Daniel Kingsbury explained the report and recommendation. Any comments received from Agencies and the Public received by the time of writing the report are in the written report.

Presentations from the Applicant: Rudi Zukowski and Brian Goodreid spoke on behalf of the applicant regarding the nature of the development, design of unit, services provided by developer and parking.

Presentations from the Public: Comment received in writing by Amanda McGuire outlining concerns regarding number of people per unit and noise levels.

Council discussed the concept drawings, unit size, setbacks and parking.

Applicant: Rudi Zukowski - 515 Mechanics Ave - Plan 4 N Pt Lt 46 N Pt Lot 47 N (Town of Kincardine) Municipality of Kincardine

Planning Report: Z-2020-082

Bruce County Planner, Daniel Kingsbury explained the report and recommendation. Any comments received from Agencies and the Public received by the time of writing the report are in the written report.

Presentations from the Applicant: Rudi Zukowski and Brian Goodreid spoke on behalf of the applicant regarding nature of development, services to be provided by owner, parking to be limited to carports and not on the apron. 

Presentations from the Public: Duane Waddington spoke regarding concerns re guest parking, congestion on the street, and the  Mechanics Ave. address. 

Council discussed visitor parking, staff parking, traffic in area, post office box and winter maintenance.
