The site plan application is for a six-unit two storey row dwelling development. With the services and retaining wall in an easement in preparation of a condominium exemption. The drawings were circulated to various agencies and comments were addressed.

The purpose of this report is to update Council on the requirements of the Electricity Act with respect to greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption reporting. The Municipality’s existing Corporate Energy Conservation and Demand Management Plan (ECDMP) requires renewal and must be updated by July 1, 2019. The new ECDMP will be in effect for the 5-year period of 2019 – 2024.

The 2018 consolidated financial statements have been audited by KPMG LLP, and the draft statements are being presented to Council for approval.

Consent Agenda

Items listed under the Consent Agenda are considered routine and are enacted in one motion as a Matter Arising. The exception to this rule is that a Council member or the Chief Administrative Officer may request one or more items to be removed from the consent agenda for separate discussion and action.

Recommended Motions

a.
Communication received from Darren Geddes submitting resignation from Committee of Adjustment

THAT Council accept, with regret, the resignation of Darren Geddes from the Committee of Adjustment;

AND FURTHER THAT Council extends its best wishes to Darren Geddes in all his future endeavors;

AND FURTHER THAT this seat be declared vacant.

b.
Tiverton Reunion

WHEREAS Council passed Resolution #04/15/19 - 15 exempting the 2019 Tiverton Reunion from certain aspects of the Alcohol Risk Management Policy;

AND WHEREAS the 2019 Tiverton Reunion Committee has since requested to change the licensed area from the East side to the West side of the Tiverton Sports Centre;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Resolution #04/15/19 - 15 be amended to delete the East side and replace with the West side of the Tiverton Sports Centre as a licensed area.
