Chair Christina Weylie called to order the Committee of Adjustment Meeting of the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine at 10:00 a.m. on November 19, 2019, in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Administration Centre.

Planning Report: A-69-19.21

The Planner explained the report and recommendation. Any comments received from Agencies and the Public received by the time of writing the report are in the written report.

Questions and Clarifications from Committee Members

The committee questioned when an application is subject to an Archaeological Study. The planner reviewed the provincial guidelines. The committee clarified any possible sight line issues, the location of the front yard, and the height of the existing structure.

    THAT the Committee of Adjustment approve the Minor Variance from Flora Newton for the property described as Con A Part Lot 53, Concession A, Municipality of Kincardine (geographic Township of Kincardine) to permit an accessory building to have a height exceeding the by-law.

    Carried.

    THAT the Committee of Adjustment approve the Minor Variance from Brian and Victoria Flett for the property described as Plan 445 Pt Lots 19 and 20; and RP 3R-6520 Part 1, Municipality of Kincardine (geographic Township of Kincardine) to permit an accessory building to have a side yard setback less than the permitted 1 metre requirement.
