​​​​​​Mayor Gerry Glover called to order the Committee of the Whole (C O W) meeting of the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine at 5:02 p.m. on  Monday, October 3, 2022, in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Administration Centre.​

Note: Some Members of Council and Staff attended virtually.

    THAT the minutes of the C O W meeting held on September 19, 2022 be adopted as printed.

    Carried.

Committee of the Whole discussed if the employees have provided input, the impact on Council's personal and kincardine.ca email addresses including the role of the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, and how other municipalities have implemented this requirement of the Act.

    THAT Committee of the Whole recommend that Council approve the Acceptable Use of Information Technology Policy as presented in Report Human Resources-2022-09;​

    AND FURTHER THAT Council repeal Sections 47-50 of By-law No. 2020-023 Consolidated Human Resources Policy Manual (2020);​

    AND FURTHER THAT this be considered as a Matters Arising.

    Carried.

Items listed under the Consent Agenda are considered routine and are enacted in one motion as a Matter Arising. The exception to this rule is that a Council member or the Chief Administrative Officer may request one or more items to be removed from the consent agenda for separate discussion and action.
