The Kincardine BIA Board of Management meeting  was called to Order at 9:00am on Tuesday August 11, 2020 electronically.

Jennifer Hunter, Branko Veljovic & Jackie Arnold- Presentation
 

Jennifer & Jackie both were in attendance to share personal experiences at it pertains to systemic racism in both society, as well as local examples.
Jennifer and Jackie shared open dialogue and messaging on how we, as a business community and perceived leaders within this capacity, can better awareness and opportunities to educate ourselves and the public on this topic.
Both presenters showed an interest in participating further should additional opportunities be presented of which they could also be a part of to help shift our thinking.
*Jackie will provide Kelly a website resource that will be circulated to the Chamber and BIA Boards.

Attendees were given the opportunity to provide comment or questions to the presenters.
Next steps:
- BIA & Chamber will discuss presentation further at their next regular meeting(s) to continue the conversation
- 21 Day Challenge (resource mentioned previously) will be provided to each committee
- Representatives from both boards thanked both Jennifer & Jackie for having this discussion with us
