Call to Order

A Special Meeting of the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Kincardine will be called to Order at 5:00 p.m. on November 27th, 2024, in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Administration Centre.

The Special Meeting was called to discuss key economic pillars for Kincardine and Municipal surplus lands.

Presentation from Sectors of Local Economy

Council will hear from speakers from each of the three key industries in the Municipality of Kincardine, including tourism, agriculture, and the nuclear energy production sector.

Key Economic Pillars for Kincardine and Municipal Surplus Lands - CAO General-2023-27

Council directed that a special meeting be held to consider the opportunity to make decisions about potential lands owned by the municipality which could be declared surplus in order to help support affordable housing in the community.
